ZIA "Early Morning" Tangles: Copada, Demi, Knightsbridge Aura and more ©Margaret Bremner, 2012 |
I've collected quite a number of possible tangle names from those strange 'words' that proved I wasn't a robot, before the 'words' became seriously peculiar. From that list I had half a dozen possible names for this pattern, so I polled my household. Here's Copada. Have fun!
Fantastic tile, love copada, thanks. Hugs lin
ReplyDeleteWonderful! So simple yet so many ways to embellish. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it, love how easy it is to do!
ReplyDeleteOOOH!!!! love it.
ReplyDeleteReminiscent of exotic architecture...as well as chocolate drops! What's not to love?
ReplyDeleteThis is a a glorious addition to the world tangle collection. Thank you for defining it, and coming up with a cool name!
Nice and easy, great embellishments...Great. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAlmost two months later, I was trying to figure out where I had seen this tangle...couldn't remember the name (I could only remember it was a cool name, but not even what it started with!) and I couldn't remember the artist (I could only remember it was a tangler I admire), so I couldn't use tanglepatterns. It was driving me crazy!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for Genevieve and her Zentangle Harmony weekly round up! In a moment of inspiration, I searched my inbox for all the Weekly Roundups, and figuring it had been nearly two months, started at the end of May. Bingo!!! So I really need to start using this tangle so I don't forget it again.
Just thought I'd post that your tangle has been on my mind, Margaret, and I so glad I "found" it again!
So glad you found it Amy! I am definitely losing track of tangles. I have a card file binder with over 350 and I can usually remember either the name, OR the tangle, OR something that interested me about it. So I have trouble finding things too. :)
DeleteLove this one, love all your tangles!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and reminded me that I started an oil painting about ...in March that I never finished that is of St. Basil's in Moscow. So your Zentangle is really appropriate for a memory jog. Really great pattern, thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeletehooray for UMT!! i love this one.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I LOVE this tangle!! It reminds me of the Taj Mahal in India, which I visited in 1988. Thanks for this!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tangle, Margaret!! Definitely will try this one!
ReplyDeleteI will probably try this tonight, looks like fun!!
ReplyDeleteSO pretty! Absolutely love the variations! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSigh! As usual, it's fabulous. You continue to astound me, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteI love this tangle!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love it! Love it! Thank you SO much for sharing! If I didn't have to leave the house right now for a funeral, I'd be tangling. I guess it would rude to tangle during a funeral! Dang!
ReplyDeleteThat's just lovely! It has a very Middle-Eastern, "Moorish" flavor to it--thank you, very much! I shall enjoy using this one, and adding it to my "Tangle Compendium".
ReplyDeleteLove this. A really Oriental feel. A fantastic framework for endless embellishment possibilities! I love the tile you created too. Definitely one to add to the arsenal!
ReplyDeleteLove the new tangle. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! This is my new favorite tangle to do! I am using it in everything!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It so takes me out of myself and into the Zen Zone! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer, glad you like it! Isn't it great to find a tangle that just takes over for a while? I've had several like that.
DeleteI particularly like the way you got the name for this tangle!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I love to follow your work. You have such talent and your spirit shines through clearly in your work! Very nice and affective tangle!, and great work on the Zentangle tile, as usual!! I like the versitility of this tangle! Fun & easy(ier) one to add to the files ;)) Thanks so much for sharing with us all, again!
ReplyDeleteJust found this tangle and love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAm so enjoying your wonderful tangles, thank you!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I will admit it, I was on a goose chase! I started out with ZaZu, Went to Zedbra, and Copada caught my eye! I love the tangle, and the tile with the towers! I took the time to draw my own towers! Thank you for sharing your wonderful tangles! I love them!
ReplyDeleteHello. I apologize for the delayed response; life has been a little too intense since last summer. I'm so glad you're enjoying Copada. You also reminded my that I haven't used it for some time now.
