Awash

Recently I discovered a small square of 4-ply mat board on which I'd done a brushy gray wash. I tangled it of course.
Tangles: Black Pearlz, Coaster, Finery, Knightsbridge, Paisley Boa, Seljuk, Unyun, Wud

  1. I like the flow a lot, like how patterns flow into each other.

  3. The ebb and flow is delightful - wonderful use of the patterns.
Please excuse my ignorance but what is the pattern "Wud" I can not find it in any of my searches. Thanks.

    1. The pattern Wud was shared (and named) during the third CZT training seminar in May 2010. Apparently it is the architectural symbol for wood. I've used it from time to time, but I may be one of the few who do!

It starts just above center in the piece above, and curves left and up, between Paisley Boa and Finery. It starts with a curvy zigzag from side to side, then the parts are filled in with lines echoing the curves. Clear as mud? :)
