Ing

Molly Hollibaugh's new tangle Ing is the Diva's challenge this week. You can read the story of how it came about and see the drawing instructions in the Zentangle newsletter here.

Ing is very versatile, and as such, a lot of fun to play with. It is composed of multiple triangles which can be left empty and shaded (giving an origami look), or filled with any number of things. Look at other tangles using triangles for fill ideas.

I did a few stripes of Ing to try out various fills. Top to bottom, I used Munchin, Tripoli, Fassett, some 'V's, and Rounding.
Ing can go around a curve too. Some sections have been left blank while others are filled. At the top are three layers of Ing.
Tangles: Beadlines, Black Pearlz, Daggerly, Ing, Munchin,
Pearlz, Tripoli, and the Rounding enhancement.
And one more. Ing, origami style.
Tangles: Ing, Black Pearlz, Crescent Moon, Ixorus, Krli-Qs, Pearlz

  13. Three Terrific Tiles, Margaret, each one great in it's own way. But I think I'd have to choose the first one, because I love stripes.
