More found story pages

In this found story, or blackout poetry, or... (what?) I added more color than previously, including a bit of gold.
Tangles: Afterglo, Drupe/Fracas mash-up, Pearlz, Puffle
Thus far I seem to have been finding "stream of thought" series of words. I wanted to try to compose more sentence-like things. I'm having some success!
My most recent effort incorporates a landscape, and the onion domes I adore. And sentences!

  1. You should check out Austin Kleon and his work! I am sure you will like him, his philosophy and his newspaper black-out stories and other art.
I do like your beautiful Zentangle art and wish I would force myself to spend some time doing it to get good at it. Annick H.

  2. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Margaret!!! You combination of 2 of my favorite things - books & Zentangle - is so inspiring to me!! Jo Newsham is the only other artist whose "found poetry" or "found stories" I have encountered. Hers have been intriguing me for several years; however, tho her art is gorgeous, the thoughts she has chosen to highlight usually aren't happy ones. What you've found on these pages so nicely fits your stunning art. Thank you for sharing!! I'm going to hunt through some old books now ... :)

    1. Thank you Jan! I have just searched images of Jo Newsham's work and love some of the artwork on her pages (gives me ideas!). Thanks for mentioning her; I hadn't realized she did blackout pages.
