This is an official tangle, deconstructed by Rick Roberts. You can read the story and see the drawing directions in the Zentangle newsletter
here. Rick suggests that stopping part way through is also a lovely pattern, and I tried that on the right side. It
is lovely! In my tile below, the part that is fully OoF got quite well-tangled and is not the simple version!

Another lovely tangle, Here's a question for you: How do you keep your tangles organized for reference? I think it's nice that you label each tangle you use on each piece. Mine are just kept in a grid notebook where they were learned; it's not a very good place to try to go back to find what I might want to use when I'm tangling, you know? Do you sort yours in any way?
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteA few people have asked about that and I think I'll do a post after Art Every Day Month is over. Mainly I use a binder and ATCs, but also a categorized list, my CZT handout and some downloaded instructions.
You make this one look so easy and gorgeous. I have a difficult time with Oof when making the diamond shapes. For some reason, I can't get in the groove of those. I shall try again!
