I've used Mariët's tangle
Golven before, but had sort of forgotten about it lately, so it was nice of the DivaCZT to offer that as the
Zentangle challenge this week. Simply "use Golven". This tangle makes a lovely border, and I had thought I might try that, but I had a tile half-finished and Golven seemed to fit one of the sections. The little black bumps along the edges of the triangles is rather special. I also tried a new tangle for me, Carole Ohl's
Footlites. Here's the tile.

ReplyDeleteThe depth of beauty you create is always a joy to see. I think golven was perfect in the glorious tile!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I really enjoy your stylized "dots" on Golven. All these tangles work together so well!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a stage in lights, fabulously delightful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Margaret! I love the motions and the drama on this tile.
ReplyDeleteI like the choice of tangles - angles and curves - good combinations. The footlights are the highlight in this one!

ReplyDeleteGreat composition!
Love the play of shade and light.
ReplyDeleteReally interesting to look at and follow the flow. I love the way things weave in and out. The stark lightness in the tangle draws your eye to start you off.
ReplyDeleteWowie again, Margaret!
ReplyDeleteGreat movement and contrast.
ReplyDeleteGreat, as usual. I like Footlites and just tried it myself this week. I like how your outside tangle changes at the curve...
