This week's challenge from the DivaCZT leaves lots of room for possibility. Stars. Just incorporate stars somehow. Star tangles, a star string, little stars, big stars. I chose a pre-strung Zendala tile that looked very starry (six points). I've been botching Auraknot a lot lately so I decided I was going to do it right for once. :)

Tangles: Afterglo, Auraknot, Pearlz, Starburst variation, and elements of Munchin |
You can't see it here but I added a bit of clear glitter ink which dolled it up a bit.
Your Auraknot Is PERFECT!!!!! Beautiful tile :)
ReplyDeleteoooooh, Margaret! That's one of the lovliest Auraknots I've seen. Perfect. ♥
ReplyDeleteso beautiful. love the shading to make the star shape pop.
ReplyDeleteI saved this one to look at again and again.
ReplyDeleteEven though, as you know, I am not a Zendala fan...
your work is so splendid.
Tell me what you will do with this.
Do you display it in some way?
Absolutely Beautiful! I love the movement you get with the Pearlz and Afterglow in the background.
ReplyDeleteWOW, that is beautiful Margaret and your Auraknot is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteStunning! How DO you keep those lines so perfectly spaced??
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly. Sometimes I think that if I'd been really into biology and chemistry I might have become a surgeon!
DeleteYour zendala is beautiful. I love the tangles you have chosen.
ReplyDeleteThe Afterglow just pops out for me... Wow!
ReplyDeleteNo botching up there Margaret! It's a treat!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very complexed Auraknot. And a great effect you made with the black spots in your work, makes the points look twisting. Great. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat auraknot. I think I may have lost my way if I had tried that many points. Like the perspective created by the shading and the fill.
ReplyDeleteFantabulous! From start to finish it is rich with beauty!
