These are three tiles I did using this looped border string.
Tangles: Crescent Moon, Earth Rising, Printemps, Tipple (2 varieties) |
Tangles: Black Pearlz, Fleurette, Tipple (2 varieties), Tripoli, Zedbra |
Of course, if you want, you can add more outside the string.
Tangles: Beadlines, Fleurette, Flux, Paradox, Unyun, stripes with highlights, and a triquetra |
Excellent idea! Loops it is - on my next tile, this is definitely happening!
ReplyDeleteThis looks thoroughly interesting - the permutations are endless too. I particularly like the way Beadlines joins the two Paradox sections.

ReplyDeletegreat idea!
ReplyDeleteI always like to add loops to my strings. I think i am attracted more to curvy lines than straight lines. These are really fun, and I love the 4 corners too.
ReplyDeleteGreat!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely idea. Think I will do four (the four seasons) and maybe some coasters oh the possibilities! Peggie Schurch Aust.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I saw this idea just after I'd started doing ZIA and used it a lot. But recently I've been working larger formats without borders. As I had already decided to work Zentangle format this week, the challenge is absolutely spot on!
ReplyDeleteFun string dancing, love all the loops!
