Parabola comes to us from Jo Newsham in New Zealand. I was having so much fun with it that I did the entire tile using this tangle, and a bit of Caviar! I also used a little white pen on black. (Still trying that once in a while, and still not happy with what I do.)
Margaret, It took me a while to get used to the white gel pen on the black....make sure the black background is absolutely dry, then use the white pen with a very light touch.....you can go over the white a second time for intensity...after it dries. I find I like to do the dots...very deliberately...slowly in different sizes...gradually making them larger...then smaller. Nice exercise. You don't have to post this if you don't want to....Molly is the one that gave me all the good advice on the gel pens...it helped me a lot. m
