I also wanted to try using Fengle all over a blank zendala tile, and to start it off-center. I wasn't very happy with it at first - it seemed too all-over-the-map. I like it better now. I like how the strong, large bits are at the 'middle' while toward the edges it's more small and delicate.

I love them both, but especially the one with Fengle. I like those swirls near the bottom of the tangle (at least the bottom of this picture :-) that seem to recede into a deep pit...the whole tile is so dynamic, truly a feast for the eyes!
ReplyDeletei really like the fengle one - i think it balances out overall and it stands out. makes me want to study it for a few minutes - that's good :)
ReplyDeleteFengle is a lot of fun to do. I always like how you can create the different sizes and they all work together well. I like the first one too - and yes - there are no mistakes! I wouldn't have noticed anything amiss if you hadn't mentioned it. :)
ReplyDeleteI think that when tangles organically morph, it works so beautifully....almost like it was meant to be that way.....
ReplyDeleteno mistakes.
These are really lovely as usual. they just keep getting better. m
I completely agree Maria. I'm working on that morph idea, preparing a post about it. (Also working on better organizing my time!)
DeleteLove the combo of Tidings and Mi2!! Can't wait to see that morph post...
