"
Beads of Courage is a wonderful charity that helps a child with a chronic illness or condition to tell
their story
of courage and strength as they take their medical journey. Artoo has
been a member of the program for a few months now, and i'm still trying
to tally and track his journey since birth...
every single bead represents something your child has done
- a test, a poke or needle, a procedure, a doctor's appointment,
therapy, special accomplishments, an xray, use of oxygen, mobility
issues, etc. It's incredible to see what your child has been through in
a very tangible way."

This week we're drawing tangled beads. Here are two versions of the same tile: the initial black and white one, and the later colored one.

Tangles: Beadlines, Black Pearlz, Coaster variation, Gewgle, Ladybugs on a Vine variation, Pearlz, Printemps, Tripoli variation , Xyp |
Same tile, same tangles, with added color, Auras and black background. I used Glaze pens on the beads to give them some lustre.
I think I may prefer the first one, but it's too late now! :)
pretty, pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like them both. And, you do have a picture of the first one. You can always print it out again :-)
ReplyDeleteI really like both of them. AND I think Beads of Courage sounds like a fantastic program.
ReplyDeleteThe strands of beads are such a good way to express your take on the challenge, they are beautiful in black and white and in color!
ReplyDeleteI like them both but am partial to the one with the color. Really like the wood-like appearance of the triangles.
ReplyDeleteLovely ensemble of colorful beads.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest daughter, Hannah, made four very long necklaces from Beads of Courage in her year and half long battle with osteosarcoma. Her older sister got to make a sibling necklace, too. The beads are beautiful and so special in the depth of meaning of each one. My girls spent many an hour stringing the beads in just the 'right way.' I'm happy and so very grateful to say that Hannah is now two years cancer free! OH, btw...I really like the second tangle...and I love them both!
ReplyDeletei like them both, margaret. the second one is, of course, my favorite - i love the colors! the beads just pop. especially those blue ones with the black centers - i can totally see that as a string of beads. what a wonderful program - Beads of Courage!
ReplyDeleteLove your beads!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful choice of tangles - both are lovely, the colours are gorgeously intense:))
ReplyDeleteI like them both but the shine and sparkle in your first tile is special,
ReplyDeleteBoth your tiles are great, but for me the first one is favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like both but the black and white one is particularly super.
