Warangaie is a tangle from Sandra Strait. It's simple, and I've had it around for a while but never used it before. I had a tile with a bit of yellow in two corners (I was cleaning the tip of a brush tip pen) and decided to use it today.
I thought that a little more yellow would unify the parts better so I added some with a colored pencil.

Wow. Art Every Day Month is almost over!
I love the way you've used Warangaie. I haven't used it in a while, and now I'm all afire to use it again, lol!
ReplyDeleteThe color is this design is a really nice touch. It is not overpowering at all, and adds to the composition. I enjoy your work, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI truthfully think just ONE color on a Zentangle tile is a marvelous thing. I favor red most times but have also used yellow and green and purple. I went to get Warangale and if I had not seen your interpretation of it...I don't think I would have made a copy to save. You know just how to do them so elegantly!!! I want to just like you when I grow up!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and you have used some tangles, I dont use very often (if at all) so it was fun (and motivating) to see them.
ReplyDeleteEverything you do is beautiful!
