A Soft Place...

I had a tile sitting on my desk that I used occasionally for cleaning brushes and testing pens. There seemed to be a heart shape developing at the bottom and I decided to tangle the tile. I used the edges of washes for some of the string lines, and pencil-outlined the heart shape. I call it "A Soft Place to Rest My Heart".

Now I need a new cleaning tile but maybe it, too, will develop into something interesting!
Tangles: Crescent Moon, Flux, Opus, Paisley Boa, Puffle, Tipple

  1. Margaret, I love this tile! I don't recall you ever doing color. It's grand.

  3. I love it too! It's very interesting how many of my tiles end up
with a heart in it even though I never intended for it to appear...
It just shows up. What a great title! What a beautiful heart! Thanks
    for sharing.

  4. This came out super. Sometimes, I use the paper under the painting, that is supposed to catch the drips and run offs, as a background for a journal page. Best wishes to you.

    1. Hi Delia, and thanks. I mainly use Sakura Micron color pens, but the color selection is limited. I also have some Zig pens and some Faber-Castellated Pitt drawing pens. And several grays and colore of brush-tip pens.
