Tangles: Fleurette, Mooka, Phuds, Spinning (with Black Pearlz), Yoga |
Attendees sometimes bring their own yoga mats rather than use what's there. Once, someone's mat had a pattern like this, thus the name 'Yoga'. Here it is.
It gets a bit dicey as you move into the tiny points. You'll probably end up doing itty-bitty dots. This pattern is pretty much 50/50 black-and-white and is quite bold, but has a nice nature-y look because of the leaf shapes.
Tangles: Künstler, Palrevo, Paradox, Posh, Yoga |
BTW: It's getting harder and harder to keep track of tangles and names. If this pattern has been presented elsewhere, or if the name has been used earlier, please let me know!
Ooooh - I like this one, Margaret - I can't wait to play with it!!!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of Locomotive - except it has the design on both sides! I like the balance of light and dark in this. My tangles often don't have that balance....
ReplyDeleteOoh. I LIke it. Very bold. I have just the place to use it...
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret, looks great, I just finished my morning yoga and now will give it a go for Laura's challenge today.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I 'm not familiar with Phuds or Posh.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I find how to draw those?
Hi Carmen,
ReplyDeletePhuds is one of Cindy Angiel's designs. You can find the instructions here: http://www.rainbowelephant.com/phuds-for-the-fun-of-it/
Posh is from Suzanne McNeill and is in the book Zentangle 2. I don't think it's online anywhere.

ReplyDeleteBig fun! Thank you, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and another one to add to your collection of op-art (but I see you don`t yet have the term "op-art" in your Blog Labels. I have persuaded Linda to add that group to her Tangles by Type collection and I hope your "Yoga" pattern will find its way there, along with my tangle, "Conoor" (RosemaryT).
ReplyDeleteAwesome blog. I enjoyed reading your articles. This is truly a great read for me. I have bookmarked it and I am looking forward to reading new articles. Keep up the good work! yoga clothing
