I was doing this drawing a while back and decided to heck with it. Over the top we go! Gems galore, large and small. Glitter paint. Iridescent paint. Gotta get it out of my system from time to time. My tangle Gingham is at the bottom.
It's much more sparkly in real life, but still, it ain't no Fabergé egg so I call it "Fabergéain't".

ReplyDeleteOh Margaret I would love to see this one in real life it looks magical!
ReplyDeletereally beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTRUTH....I was never that fond of Faberge eggs....a bit too over the top for me. I like the unexactness that Zentangle brings to this design... and in this case the sparkles are perfect!! and that you broke through the border for no reason but beauty. Shouldn't that always be the reason? And oh yeah, I love that it isn't in the middle. Makes for a really interesting piece. Love it. And Happy Easter to you, too. Maria
ReplyDeleteYour tangles are wonderful as always, but your text is just super!!! Cheered me up, no end ;-0 Bring on the sparkle!!!
ReplyDeleteFaberwonderful!! What a great idea. That egg is the perfect showcase for it too.
ReplyDeleteAND, I wanted to add.....wouldn't Zentangles look so cool with marcasite jewels... bet one could get them in an antique store or something......m
