One of the freshly-minted CZTs, Rho Densmore, came up with this lovely tangle. She's called it Providence in part for the city where the CZT training seminar was held. Do read the story and find out what inspired it in her
blog post with the drawing instructions. I love the look of the corners curled up and over. I've been trying it, and think it will appear as a lovely mandala center soon!

Oh wow, these look amazing. So many possibilities with that tile. I'll go try it.
ReplyDeleteI am a CZT8 and was present at the birth of Rho's "Providence". I was excited to learn her tangle at the seminar and am oddly proud to see her creation out in the Big Leagues. You're interpretations are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, Wow! It is exciting to know you were inspired by my pattern and I feel honored that you chose to use if for your two designs. Your top tiles is the first time I have seen the pattern used in a smaller form and I really like it. I also agree with you about how the corners look like folded paper. The bottom tile has the affect of turning a page in a book. Thank you for the compliment about my pattern and for sharing with me and others how versatile and fun it can be.
ReplyDeleteThank YOU, Rho! It's a lovely pattern.
