To read how this week's challenge came about, I'm going to send you to the Diva CZT's blog, here. I love rainbow colors so I used that for this tile. Drupe seems like an explode-y, "going public" kind of tangle, and I wanted to use only that, but change colors as I crossed string lines. Here's my effort:
Love your colorful tile. What kind of color pencils did you use?
ReplyDeleteLori, normally I use color pencils for shading color ink, but I was in a little hurry and decided to use a gray pen. I wasn't that happy with it - not enough gradation in the gray - so I added ordinary pencil. I like it much better than I expected to!
DeleteAmazing tile. You have used the colors splendidly.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly right. As you say, an explosion of colour and beautifully done. Fabulous tile.
ReplyDeleteA great big beautiful explosion!
