12 Day of Zentangle, Part 3

Project Pack 07, the final four days.

DAY NINE
A spiral, squared, with (what strikes me as) lotus flowers. Very pretty.

DAY TEN
Molly has a different take on Bronx Cheer. I had a different take on Molly's! (Includes gold pollen.)

DAY ELEVEN
One of many favorite tangles, Paradox, on four gray Bijou tiles, with the addition of a thicker 'slice' on the end of each line. Here, the two on the bottom are shaded differently than the two on top.

DAY TWELVE
Waaah! It's the last day! (Oh well, now I'll get the dusting done. Maybe.)

I enjoyed this and did others with the same theme on a tan tile and on a black tile.

And... Hurray! The project pack comes with some extra gray tiles!

12 Days of Zentangle - Part 2

Zentangle's Project Packs are always a fun ride! Here is Project Pack 07, the middle four days.

DAY FIVE
On a gray tile, beginning with a fascinating string! I had a few missteps with this one, but I still like the result.

I was enchanted with this string and had to try it on other surfaces and with other colors.

1) In black on a white tile.  2) In browns on a tan tile. 3)  Moonlight pens on a black tile.

DAY SIX
The new tangle Hollis on a gray zendala tile, with Maria's "moon pies" at some of the divergences. The gray tile is the pale color of the 'shadow' Hollis; I defined it by shading around it.

DAY SEVEN
A peapod-shape filled with more peapod shapes.

DAY EIGHT
Cadent, marvelously expanded with the addition of other tangles.

Tangles: Firecracker, Oaura, Pearlz, Snailz, and a Cubine at the center,
plus gems and moonpies.

This one was so much fun I also tried it in other colors.

1) In black on a white tile. 
2) In browns on tan paper with grommets, a copper brad, and a Chinese coin!
3)  Moonlight pens on a black tile.

12 Days of Zentangle, Part 1

It's time for Zentangle's annual 12 days of projects! This year a lot of the projects are on the new gray tiles. It's a lovely pearl gray and very nice paper to draw on. There's also blue pens, a gold pen, and a few other supplies in the kit.

DAY ONE
We used four gray Bijou tiles and created four similar tiles that can be arranged in a variety of interesting ensembles. Here are my tiles, arranged three different ways.

I enjoyed it enough to do another, but on black Bijou tiles.

DAY TWO
One gray standard -size tile, and the tangle All Stars from Tomàs Padrós, a new CZT but long-time tangler.

DAY THREE
This time on a gray zendala tile. A curious assortment of tangles in the main points, but they all hang together well in the end!

I tried another one on a tan tile with brown inks.

DAY FOUR
Four black Bijou tiles, drawn in gold, each with a monotangle.
