First up, two tiles for the
Diva's challenge this week, Curvy Gridlock: use square grid tangles but with curvy lines instead of straight. I wanted to try the tan tiles again with brown ink. I did two but really didn't like one of them so I did one on white with black ink.

Tangles: Knightsbridge, Knot Rickz, Sindoo, Well |
|
Tangles: Beadlines, Black Pearlz, Florz, Seljuk, Spinners, Tortuca |
The third tile is for Adele Bruno's weekly challenge "
It's a String Thing". Everyone is to use Tangle Patterns string idea #27 and tangles that begin with 'Z'. I looked in my files and found quite a few 'Z' tangles. I didn't even use
Zedbra!
|
Tangles: Zander, Zapateado, Zewn, Ziggy, Zoya |
Like the color and flow of the first tile. I like Sindoo but do not use it much.Like how you fit it in here.
ReplyDeleteI recently rediscovered Sindoo and seem to be using it a lot!
DeleteMargaret, I love the look of tan and brown, I have been wondering for some time why the brown looks so different on some tiles I have seen, I did not realize that there were tan tiles. Thanks for your explanation. As always your choice of pattern and design is perfect. I love the z tile....some new patterns I have not before seen make quite the statement in the tile. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteUsing toned paper is fun, and often has a lovely result. With the 'Z' tangles, there's one I've never done before and most I'd sort of forgotten about!
DeleteWell I must say that first one (the tan one) really reaches out to me! Beautiful work in all cases.
ReplyDeleteWow! They are all absolutely gorgeous! I especially love the tan/brown submission. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful Margaret. I love that Sindoo, I don't think I have ever used it. And there are si many tangles unknown to me in that last tile, time to go and investigate!
ReplyDeleteAll three are beautiful! Especially I like the first one!
ReplyDeleteLove all of them......great combination of tangels!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the tan tile, I'm still struggling with them. All three are beautiful
ReplyDelete.
All three are fabulous :)
ReplyDeleteLove the variety and textures of colors and your beautiful tangles!
ReplyDeleteI love love LOVE the color of your first one! That is so creative :) The borders around the second two are so neat, too, thought, I love them all!
